The UK has decided to make quite a few changes to it gambling laws and the first and foremost chance will be the replacement of the ‘White List’ system which recognizes licensed granted by certain jurisdictions as if those licensed were issued by the UK, but with its own requirements for licenses. Economic Development Minister, John Penrose, who is the UK official responsible for online gambling announced that the changes in the law would be implemented as fast as possible.
Ever since the recent crackdown on online poker sites in the US and the consequent suspension of Full Tilt Poker’s license which by Alderney, a White Listed jurisdiction, it was certain that UK would make immediate changes to their online gambling laws.
